The Stochastic Modeling and Applied Research of Technology (SMARTY) series is devoted to the publication of proceedings of SMARTY biannual workshop whose aim is to efficiently disseminate original research results in the theoretical, algorithmic and methodological aspects of queueing theory, stochastic modeling and applied probability, focusing on applications of such methods across a broad spectrum of technical systems with primary interest in high-performance and distributed computing systems in electronic form. Doing so, a high quality single-blind peer review process is normally undertaken while volume preparation, and carefula paper selection is done within the focus of the workshop.
